This original and unique mixed media work is set up with acrylic paint and scraps of newspapers, magazines and comics. A layer of epoxy resin has been applied over this. This is a labour-intensive and time-consuming process that requires a lot of searching to find the right color and prints. Close by, the applied images and writing, which are incorporated in the painting, can be seen. The portrait is made on a linen canvas on a wooden stretcher, with a suspension system.
